Jennifer Bricker-Pugh

Primarily my work is non-objective. It is a study of color and geometric form. It evokes energy and spontaneity and induces diverse feelings from the audience. Predominately using acrylics, oils and texturing products, my goal is to enhance surface quality and make the painting appear three-dimensional. I experiment with size. My paintings range from very small to very large but regardless of size they all emote energy and enthusiasm. As an artist interested in captivating the audience, I try to encompass expressive lines and vibrant colors. My inspiration comes from a wide range of artists including Van Gogh, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Henri Matisse and sculptor David Smith. "Traps" 29x26" "Echo I" 57x36"
