Laurie Culling

A professional artist and active community visual artists advocate, Laurie was awarded a "2002 Phoenix Award in Visual Arts" for her artistic achievement and contributions to the visual arts community. Working with acrylics on canvas, mixed media collage, gypsum, hand-made paper, and more, her style ranges from Realism to Abstract Expressionism. Laurie earned a BFA in Painting & Drawing from the University of Kansas; is a founding member of the F.A.N. Club (a woman artists support group); current volunteer Art Exhibit Coordinator for the Lawrence Public Library sponsored by the Lawrence Art Guild.
