“I create places where one can happily daydream.” Primarily a landscape painter working alla prima in the pastel medium, Kathy Drungilas has painted in the Southwest, coastal California, and now lives and paints in the Midwest. Painting is peace to me, there is nothing more calming or soothing than to paint and play with color. Not limiting herself only to broad vistas, Kathy has applied her artistic eye to other subjects as well. Still life compositions, florals and lately a series of paintings of classic automobiles also spring from Kathy’s palette.
